Wave Tech was selected to be the PTDS prime contractor. PTDS provides long-term surveillance using a tethered aerostat and integrated sensors and applications integrated into the in-theater C4ISR infrastructure. Wave's engineers engineered, integrated, tested and developed CONOPS, trained users, and deployed PTDS to Iraq in 10 months.

Once in theater, the Wave Tech team overcame war-zone challenges, achieved a 95 percent systems availability, and a perfect safety record.

This successful rapid prototype became a formal Army program. Wave Tech assisted the Army in PTDS transition to a formal program. We received accolades from the Army INSCOM program manager who stated, "I've never seen a transition go as smoothly as this one, thanks to Wave Technologies' spirit of cooperation and know how."
